Leadership Team
Declan Murphy
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Declan is the dynamic leader of Burnetts committed to pushing the team forwards. Having recently been shortlisted for Entrepreneur of the year at the Dealmaker Awards for 2022 it is clear Declan has a vision for growth and the future of Burnetts. This drive for improvement carries over to Declan’s life outside of Burnetts. Declan ran the London Marathon in an awesome time of 2:54 running for Great Ormond Street Hospital raising over £4000. Running's just not enough for Declan, as now he is taking on the Hyrox challenge, the ultimate in fitness racing.
Andy Rigg
Plant Director
Joining in December 2025 Andy has experience of Automotive and lean principles. A proven leader in the manufacturing sector with 25+ years of implementing change and efficiencies, Andy brings further strength to the management team. As Burnetts significant growth continues, the need to achieve our strategic goals will be led by Andy and the team.
Rich Dixon
Sales Director
Rich has worked in the rubber industry for over twenty-five years. With a wide knowledge of materials and processing of material, you can be sure of comprehensive support for your projects from design through to production. An avid supporter of UK manufacturing Rich regularly attends events on behalf of Burnetts. Outside of work Rich is normally found on the golf course, on his bike, running or watching sport.
Terry Westgate
Technical Director
As our technical director, Terry works on product and tooling designs to ensure they meet with customer demands and our internal production requirements. Terry has the overall responsibility to ensure our factory is as efficient as possible and is always open to new technology and equipment. Terry is a whizz on CAD so if you have a product that needs a review, Terry is your man. Terry has a young family and is regularly one of our world food experience attendees. A big sports fan Terry follows Manchester United but we don’t hold that against him.
